ON ANOTHER TOPIC. A number of influential scientists representing different countries of the world have signed a declaration declaring that they recognize that most animals have consciousness.
According to that declaration, there is a large scientific data base supporting the existence of conscious experience in a number of mammals and a number of bird species.
This means that it is impossible to ignore that this conscious experience does not play a role in the animal and does not affect its behavior in decision-making
This gives a reason to declare that animals also have consciousness. The declaration was signed by scientists representing the USA, France, Russia, Great Britain, Israel, Norway and other countries.
