S. The feast of the Assumption of the Virgin is one of the 5 feasts of the Armenian Church, which is celebrated on the Sunday closest to August 15, between August 12-18.
This year the holiday will be celebrated on Sunday, August 18.
The holiday is followed by a mortuary, but it is a work one.
