Today, on February 16, a tragic and mysterious incident took place in Yerevan.

Around 6:20 p.m., the Erebuni Police Department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Yerevan Regiment of the RA Police Patrol Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs received operational information that there was a dead body in a broken-down car parked near Artsakh Avenue 1/1, next to the Forensic Department of the Police of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As reported by Shamshyan.com, the police, patrols and investigators found a man’s body in the driver’s seat of the crashed Toyota car.

While the coroner was examining the body, the police and patrols found out that the deceased is 49-year-old Vachagan A., a resident of Syunik region, without a permanent place of residence.

Due to the fact of the incident, criminal proceedings were initiated in the investigation department of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts under the characteristics of “murder” (sudden death).

By the decision of the investigator, a forensic medical examination of the corpse was appointed.
