At around 12:10 p.m., Toyota Camry driven by 31-year-old Tovmas Tovmasyan, a resident of Aragatsotn marz, and UAZ, driven by 28-year-old Davit Ghiasyan, a resident of Tavush marz, collided on the Noyemberyan-Ijevan highway (near Mysisyan bridge).
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, as a result of the accident, 3 people, who are women, were taken to hospital with physical injuries.
1 combat unit from the Ijevan fire-rescue squad of the Rescue Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs arrived promptly.
The patrols of the 1st company of the Tavush region battalion of the RA MIA Police Patrol Service, led by battalion commander Levon Martirosyan and company commander Artak Ohanyan, also arrived.
The information about the accident was transferred from the Tavush Marz Battalion of the RA Investigative Committee to the Tavush Marz Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, from where the investigative team arrived, led by the duty investigator responsible for the day.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated in the investigative department of the accident, where the identity of the injured will be revealed.
