A doctor has revealed why women should sleep without panties

 

 

 

Do you prefer to sleep in thick pajamas or airy shorts? The gynecologist advises women to sleep without panties at all. What at first glance seems unsanitary can actually be beneficial to health.

As for sleepwear, every woman has her own preferences: someone likes more comfortable and warm, someone likes lacy and frank. Instead of wearing pajamas, peignoirs and the like, she believes that it is better to sleep completely naked under them.

“It is known that bacteria love heat,” explains gynecologist Elizaveta Komarova especially for MedikForum.

The intimate part also needs air

If you never let air into your personal space, you create the perfect breeding ground for germs because they love warm and humid climates and they will be happy if you protect them by wearing underwear at night.

Most women still wear underwear during the day, and tight pants are often worn over it, which means that air cannot enter the intimate area at all.

Sleeping without underpants reduces the risk of infection

Especially for women who often have problems with fungal infections or abscesses, it is recommended not to wear underwear at night. Because clean air prevents the growth of fungi and reduces the likelihood of infection.

“In this case, it is generally better to wear only cotton underwear, as it is more breathable than synthetic fabrics.”

Sleep naked. there is only one drawback

One of the disadvantages of sleeping naked is the need to change bedding more often.

“It is recommended to wash them once a week so that bacteria cannot multiply so much, of course, they are transmitted through bare skin much more than through underwear and pajama fabric.”

Optimal body temperature

The body adapts to the daily rhythm. This regulates body temperature, which in turn is one of the most important factors affecting human sleep.

If the body is too warm during sleep, this can adversely affect the quality of sleep. When temperatures are optimal, the body is also better able to regulate levels of the stress hormone cortisol.

Reducing body odor

No matter how strange it may sound, it is useful from time to time to “ventilate” the legs, armpits and intimate places. Thus, sweat on the skin and in the folds of the skin dries better.

But one thing you must remember. just because you sleep naked doesn’t mean you can’t walk around without a shower.

Light pajamas as an alternative

Some people just don’t like the feeling of bare skin under the covers, or they get cold very quickly, so sleeping naked is not an option for them. In such cases, it is recommended to wear something especially airy so that at least some advantages can be taken with you.

For example, boxers or wide pajama bottoms that can’t be worn under underwear are ideal.
